We got tired of un-teaching bad habits.
For years we hired the way every agency does: post a job, interview people who learned Google Ads from YouTube screenshots of other people's dashboards, then spend six months un-teaching everything before they could touch a client account.
So we stopped hiring around the problem and started training through it. The Aries Academy is the school we wished existed when we started: no theory-for-theory's-sake, no simulated "sandbox" accounts, no certificate mills. You learn the way our own team learned — on the craft first, then on live accounts, with a senior watching over your shoulder.
Today the Academy runs a new cohort every month, capped at around ten seats. Small on purpose: every trainee gets a named senior mentor, and every piece of work gets a human review. That doesn't scale to a hundred students — and we're fine with that.
The honest part: we built this because we're growing. New client accounts arrive every month, and each one needs a genuinely qualified traffic manager — the scarcest resource in this industry. The Academy is how we solve that: it's our talent pipeline. At the end of every cohort we make internal offers to the strongest graduates, and most of the operations team you'd work with as a client came through this exact program. We're not training you for a certificate — we're training you the way we train our own hires, because some of you will be.
