Aries Academy

We don't just run accounts.
We build the people who do.

Every month, around ten new traffic managers walk into the Aries Academy. Twelve weeks later they walk out having managed real budgets on real client accounts — with a senior strategist reviewing every move. The best of them never leave: we hire them.

Why the Academy exists

We got tired of un-teaching bad habits.

For years we hired the way every agency does: post a job, interview people who learned Google Ads from YouTube screenshots of other people's dashboards, then spend six months un-teaching everything before they could touch a client account.

So we stopped hiring around the problem and started training through it. The Aries Academy is the school we wished existed when we started: no theory-for-theory's-sake, no simulated "sandbox" accounts, no certificate mills. You learn the way our own team learned — on the craft first, then on live accounts, with a senior watching over your shoulder.

Today the Academy runs a new cohort every month, capped at around ten seats. Small on purpose: every trainee gets a named senior mentor, and every piece of work gets a human review. That doesn't scale to a hundred students — and we're fine with that.

The honest part: we built this because we're growing. New client accounts arrive every month, and each one needs a genuinely qualified traffic manager — the scarcest resource in this industry. The Academy is how we solve that: it's our talent pipeline. At the end of every cohort we make internal offers to the strongest graduates, and most of the operations team you'd work with as a client came through this exact program. We're not training you for a certificate — we're training you the way we train our own hires, because some of you will be.

What you leave with

Real account experience8 weeks on live client accounts — actual budgets, actual stakes, every change senior-reviewed before it ships.
The Aries communityA private alumni network of working traffic managers, plus access to selected Aries Labs internal tools — the same stack our team runs daily.
A shot at a seat hereWe hire the best of every cohort into the Aries Star team. No promises — the bar is the bar — but the door is genuinely open.
Phase 1 · Weeks 1–4

Four weeks of curriculum. Zero filler.

Live sessions, daily exercises on real (anonymized) account data, and a written review of your work every single week. If you coast, you'll know by Friday.

Foundations & account anatomy

How the auction actually works, account structure, match types, the settings that quietly burn budgets — and how to read an account you've never seen before.

Search, deeply

Keyword strategy, negatives as a system, ad copy that earns its click, and reading a search terms report like a P&L — the core skill of this job.

Shopping, feeds & PMax

Merchant Center without fear: feed quality, disapprovals, SKU-level thinking, and where Performance Max helps versus where it hides your money.

Measurement & the client

Conversion tracking, attribution caveats, reconciling platform numbers with revenue — then reporting it all to a founder in plain language.

Phase 2 · Weeks 5–12

Eight weeks where it becomes real.

This is the part no course sells you, because no course can. You join our operations pod and work on live client accounts under a senior strategist — the same accounts, tools and standards our own team is held to.

You'll build search term reviews, propose negatives, draft structural changes, investigate tracking discrepancies and prepare client-facing reporting. Nothing you produce reaches an account without senior review — that's how clients stay safe, and it's also how you learn: every correction comes with the why.

By week twelve you don't have a certificate that says you can do the job. You have eight weeks of evidence that you did it.

  • A named senior mentorOne strategist owns your development for all eight weeks — reviews, feedback, weekly 1:1s.
  • Real budgets, real diversityE-commerce, lead gen and local accounts across US, Australian and European markets.
  • The Aries Labs stackYou'll work with our in-house tooling — semantic negatives, revenue reconciliation — not just the Google Ads UI.
  • A final review that means somethingYour last week is a full account analysis defended in front of the founders — the same bar we hold candidates to.
After graduation

The cohort ends. The community doesn't.

Graduating from the Academy makes you part of something we take seriously — a working community of traffic managers we trained ourselves.

Alumni community

A private space where every member passed through the same twelve weeks. Account questions, second opinions, job leads — from people who solve these problems daily.

Access to our tools

Alumni keep access to selected Aries Labs internal tools — parts of the same stack our team uses on client accounts. Tooling most freelancers and junior hires simply don't have.

We hire from every cohort

We're a growing agency, permanently short of qualified people — that's the whole reason the Academy exists. The strongest graduates of each promotion get an offer to join Aries Star. It's how most of our operations team arrived.

Twelve weeks, one trajectory.

You start in a classroom. You finish having defended a live account analysis in front of the founders — with the community and the tooling to keep going.

When does the $2,000 pay itself back?

Pick a realistic path after graduation — or type your own numbers. Presets use published market rates for entry-level Google Ads work.

// Reference points: entry freelance rates on Upwork typically run $15–40/h (median ≈ $25); entry-level US salaries $45–60K/yr; full-time remote global roles ≈ $1,200–1,500/mo. Illustrative math only — your income depends on you, and nobody can guarantee it.

Do I need prior Google Ads experience?

No — we take motivated beginners and people with some marketing background alike. What we select for is analytical thinking, written English, and the discipline to show up daily for twelve weeks. The curriculum assumes nothing; the pace assumes commitment.

Is the program remote?

Fully remote. Live sessions are scheduled to work across our hubs (Manila-anchored operations, with senior presence in France, Dubai and APAC time zones). Expect a real daily commitment — this is closer to a job than a course.

What does "supervised practice on client accounts" actually mean?

You work inside our operations pod on live accounts, but nothing you produce touches an account without a senior strategist's review and sign-off. Clients get the same safety guarantee as always; you get the fastest feedback loop that exists in this craft.

Am I guaranteed a job at the end?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. We make internal offers to the strongest graduates of each cohort — that's real, and it's how much of our team arrived — but the bar is high and not everyone clears it. Everyone who completes the program leaves with live-account experience, the alumni community and tool access.

Why only ~10 seats a month?

Because every trainee gets a named senior mentor and human review on every piece of work. That model breaks past a dozen people, and we'd rather stay small and honest than scale and dilute.
